North Saskatchewan Riverkeeper

Protecting the waters of the Saskatchewan River for swimming, drinking and fishing

We are proud to announce the launch of the North Saskatchewan Riverkeeper's new website. This site is exciting for us for a number of reasons. First, we just love the design that our partners at Muscle + Bone created for this site. Alan and JJ at M+B really understand "the Watershed Movement" and I really enjoy the concepts that come out of having them manage the graphic design process directly with ThinkShout clients. Second, the NSRK website is the first of over a dozen conservation sites slated to be built with our new Drupal distribution, Watershed Now, this fall.

I can't say enough great things as well about the highly-flexible backend management tools that Troy Thompson developed for this project. The entire homepage, including the scrolling captions and background images, was developed as a single Drupal node that the site administrators can manage without developer intervention. That's a geeky way of saying that site admins can swap out background images, change the order of those images, change the Twitter feed, and update the homepage blocks all from a single, easy-to-use admin screen.
